After reading yesterday’s post, a reader reminded me that my guru, Khushwant Singh, had written his own epitaph.

He is right.

I think he must be the only person who wrote his own epitaph many years before his time came.

Read his lines - 

Here lies one who spared neither man nor God

Waste not your tears on him, he was a sod

Writing nasty things, he regarded as great fun

Thank the Lord he is dead, this son of a gun.
