ham ko maalūm hai jannat kī haqīqat lekin

dil ke ḳhush rakhne ko 'ġhālib' ye ḳhayāl achchhā hai

हमको मालूम है जन्नत की हक़ीक़त लेकिन

दिल के ख़ुश रखने को 'ग़ालिब' ये ख़याल अच्छा है

I know the reality of heaven, but to keep the heart happy, this thought is good.

Let us believe in Ghalib and enjoy this life.
