चलो बैठें कहीं चुपचाप 

बुनते हुए सन्नाटे का मोटा कालीन

कालीन फर्श पर बिछाने को 

दोस्तों के लिए 

और पसरने के लिए 

आधी रात को

जब करने को बहुत कुछ हो 

और कुछ किया न जाए

let's sit somewhere quietly, 

weaving a thick carpet of silence

carpets to spread on the floor 

for friends 

and to stretch out 

in the middle of the night

when there's so much to do 

and nothing to be done
