27. You're sitting on my chair

These days US president Donald Trump is in news for all the wrong reasons. In his unpredictable and controversial style, he has opened a pandora’s box and now finding himself unable to fill it back.

As it happens with such characters we find so many jokes around them.

A stock market veteran, who has deep knowledge of Indian economy and a very dear friend Ashok Jainani has shared one such, today.

So let us have the much-needed comic relief in a world full of alternative facts.

But before we proceed, I must declare that I was and will remain a Trump fan although he is really doing a lot of damage to his own country.

And why I will remain his fan because he would be remembered as the USA President who made India great again.

In history he will share at least some of the credit with the Prime Minister Narendra Modi because with his stupid decision to impose a 50 per cent tariff, he is igniting the Indian entrepreneurs and the Modi government to turn this adversity into an opportunity.

Here goes the joke -

After their death, George Bush, Barack Obama and Donald Trump are going for an interview with God. (Nothing serious. I love them all. They are all gentlemen, served the nation with all their might and should live long).

They are called according to their seniority.

So first, God asks George Bush - “What do you believe in?”

Bush answers - “I believe in the free market, and the strong American nation!”

God is impressed by Bush and tells him - “Great, come sit on the chair on my right.”

Next, God asks Barack Obama - “What do you believe in?”

Obama answers – “I believe in the power of democracy, helping the poor, world peace, etc.”

God is really impressed by Obama and tells him – “Well done, come sit on the chair on my left.”

Finally, God asks Donald Trump – “What do you believe in?”

Trump answers - “I believe you're sitting on my chair.”

I have been following American politics very closely since 1996 presidential elections when I wished Robert Joseph Dole, the Republican leader to win but Bill Clinton won. Ross Perot was the third candidate who ran an independent campaign as the nominee of the Reform Party.

Those who like to read Joke books, I will advise them to read ‘Eric's Big Book of Trump Jokes’ which is available on Amazon.

The problem with Trump jokes is that Republicans don’t think they’re funny, and Democrats don’t think they’re jokes.
